Soter ... in search of water lost

Initially we had a parental awareness by communicating the beginning of the meeting MUTECO and talked with the children about the situation of the stream. On this occasion it was shown pictures of the juvenile stream 10 years ago. Later we made a technical visit to Soter accompanied by Dr. Joseph Milton Long, a biologist who guided us during the project. Juveniles could view the silted creek, gully erosion and installed inside the Park. During the walk around of the gully, Biologist clarified the causes and consequences of that situation. At the end, did the Song of Farewell to the banks of the stream. After this visit, we asked the youth the development and socialization of reports emphasizing the causes of gully erosion in the Park; Saturday before MUTECO, visited the surrounding residents aware of the problem and collecting signatures asking the Standing Committee of the City Council of Campo Grande -MS, measures of maintenance and upkeep of the park and the surrounding Soter and distributed flyers about the project; Finally, we mobilize the community for three days to call on FM Blink 102 - every hour, calling for the hug and distribution of 1,000 tree seedlings to be planted in the park. On 29/06 we embrace solidarity in the 22 acre park with planting and distribution of seedlings to the community. Seedlings were achieved through a partnership with Scania / PB Lopes, was another partner company Aguas de Guariroba, we donated a thousand glasses of water to be distributed to the population. Several organizations such as Lions Club, Private and Public Schools, College and park goers attended the embrace with over 2,400 square meters around the park, recorded by several communication stations; Youth Members involved in the project, along with the Heads, made the delivery of the report endorsed with signatures of residents to the City Council of Campo Grande. The document calls for the City Administration improvements in urgency, maintenance and conservation, indoor and outdoor park Soter.
