Learning Amateur Radio for Natural Disasters

As we are the scout group called "İZDOS" from İzmir - Turkey,
we had an activity station in summer camp called "0 to Sea". This acticity station is about learning and using amateur radio.
TRAC (Turkey Association of Radio Amateurs) come to our camp with their full applications. During camp Mr. Nuri ( radio Amateur) , had showed several presentations, teached how scout can use it and than they had a great practise.
they had written an artificial scenerio about a story of earthquake. than they started talking, using practises with participant scouts.
that was great way to use it and understand its importance.
Now all scouts started preparations for JOTA/JOTI...
