There was a need to use the period to discuss the programmes of the GSA considering regional, National, ARO and WOSM programmes. Participants all looked into their regional programmes for the year 2013 and also heard from the national programmes department on several issues of grave concern to the development of Scouting in the country and in Africa

The workshop started with introductory formalities and workshop expectation. Both sessions was facilitated by Leonard Victor Atipaga, the first on MOP looking into the Ghana project implementation, weaknesses, lessons and way forward, the second part of the session was on Community leaders and what who should be considered in building a community patrol.
