The 2013 edition of the Training Commissioners Network Meeting will be held in Rome and have a special focus on Innovation in Training.
The event has become one of the well-known and successful network opportunities for national leaders in the European Region. 2013 will see the fourth edition of this event, addressing issues of common interest for National Commissioners in charge of adult resources management and members of their teams.

Aims
 
The aim of the network meeting is to offer a motivating and informative opportunity for experts in the field of adult resources management, volunteering and training to share experiences and learn from each other.
 
The focus of this TCNM edition will be Innovation in Training.
 
Objectives
 
Stimulate participants to reflect on the needs of their organizations in the area of adult resources
Support participants to understand new trends in volunteering, their impact on the management of adult resources in NSOs and explore ways to react to them
Offer an opportunity for effective networking and partnerships in the area of adult resources management in NSOs
Inspire participants for the implementation of innovative methods in training
 
Participants profile
  • National Training Commissioners
  • Adult Resources and Volunteering experts
  • Able to communicate well in English and/or French

As any network, the event is highly flexible, its programme being built entirely on the needs and interests of the participants. The latest TCNM took place in Budapest and focused on:

  1. design and implementation of training;
  2. quality of training; and
  3. Wood badge.

30 participants from 20 European NSOs attended this meeting.
