World Scout Fair - 38th World Scout Conference

  • 1. Янв 2008

Scout leaders from all over the world will participate in the 38th World Scout Conference. In order to celebrate the rich cultural heritage and traditions of all the organizations represented, the Korea Scout Association (KSA) invites all National Scout Organizations (NSOs) to the 'World Scout Fair' which will be held Tuesday 15 July, 19:30-21:00. The social event is supported by the World Scout Shop.

The evening will commence with a welcome message from the World Scout Shop and will continue with a variety of participatory activities. As host of the World Scout Conference, KSA will have a separate display and will share a variety of delightful Korean dishes with them as well as give a glimpse of the traditional and contemporary Korean culture.

Scout Uniform Fashion Show
This is the chance to show-off Scouting in your country through your national uniform to the rest of the Conference. It will be an exciting way to highlight the global nature of the Movement. Please select one of your young delegates to model for your country or your NSO (see the form attached).

Cultural or Traditional Performances
It’s show-time for NSOs who are prepared to present their own culture and traditions on stage. It will be great fun for not only those participating, but also those in the audience. If your NSO would like to perform on stage, please complete the form attached.

International Food Festival
The Food Festival offers you the chance to enjoy the different tastes of the world. KSA will prepare tables and chairs for food serving. If your NSO wants to bring traditional food such as preserved fruits, canned food, sweets or teas from your country, it will be very much appreciated. Cooking will NOT be permitted inside ICC Jeju. If your NSO wishes to serve food at the World Scout Fair, please use the form attached.
