The Association of Scouts of Azerbaijan is celebrating its 15th anniversary and organizing an international camp. ASA are glad to invite representatives from National Scout Organization to the international camp held in Guba, Azerbaijan, between August 5th and 12th 2012.
This event will give an opportunity to strengthen international ties between scouts and rovers from different countries gathered together in the place of tolerance and understanding where Azerbaijani Muslims live in neighborhood with a large Jewish community. All the participants of the camp will have an opportunity to discover unforgettable nature of Caucasus Mountains during the two-days hiking with the overnight stay up in the mountains as well as the tours to the Old Islamic Guba and Jewish community which will facilitate the exploration of Azerbaijani culture. The camp program will provide many different activities including pioneering, sport and cooking competitions, obstacle courses and different trainings. Scouts and Rovers from other countries will be able to apply for the available “Home Hospitality” program either before or after the main camp and stay in the capital city of Azerbaijan – Baku and enjoy the Caspian shore and make sightseeing tours.

Venue: Guba, (Qachrash road), Azerbaijan
Participant`s profile: Participants should be in the age of 16-25 years and have an ability to speak English or Russian, in other cases please apply beforehand.
Transportation and participation fee: Association of Scouts of Azerbaijan will provide all the needed LOCAL transportation. The Participation fee is 100 EUROS. This fee will cover the transportation costs and meals during the period of the camp.
