Level 2 Course for Adult Leaders and Trainers in Honduras

From 16th to 18th of August, in the city of Comayagua, the Scout Association of Honduras developed a Level 2 Course for Adult Leaders and Trainers.

Sixteen participants, coming from all over the country, attended the course to develop their skills in the areas of Youth Programme and Adults in Scouting. The Training Team was composed of "Four Beaders" from Honduras. Ralf Dillmann, Regional Director of Adults in Scouting from the WSB-IAR, was invited to lead the sessions of “World, Regional and National Policies (Youth Programme and Adults in Scouting)” and the “Competency approach for Adults in the Scout Movement”.

Topics like Educational Proposal, Strategic Planning, Conflict Resolution, and Performance Appraisal, among others, were also part of the agenda of this course. According to Mario Lagos, Honduras’ Adult Resources Director, it is the first time after more than two decades that this course is being delivered in the country. At the end, participants appreciated the presence of the Regional Office in the course and the opportunity they had to clarify different questions and topics regarding to the current Scout Movement’s developments.
