JOTA-JOTI 2019 Communication with the scouts of in and out of Japan

Cub and Beaver scouts of Minami-Ashigara Group 1 of Japan have participated in the JOTA-JOTI 2019 on Sunday, October 20, 2019.

Before we start on this event, we explained about JOTA-JOTI to scouts.

Our participation in JOTI communication has used Skype, Facebook Messenger.

At first, we interacted with the Cub Scouts group of the Ishikawa Council.  Then, with the Seisho Area JOTI Program team of Kanagawa council, the Cub scouts group in Kobe City of Hyogo Council, and two Taiwan Scout groups.

In particular, with the scouts from Taiwan, we have used a smartphone to translate Chinese and Japanese into each other's languages, and we were able to enjoy the interactive exchange of songs in English.

A great experience was made by the scouts, but time sure fly’s so fast!.
