Midlands province scouts (Zimbabwe) commemorate the Africa Scout Day 2019

Scouts in the Midlands Province of Zimbabwe gathered to commemorate the Africa Scout Day 2019 in a two nights camp. 600+Scouts came to camp with their Leaders. The camp this year was focusing on scouts contribution towards ensuring environmental sustainability. Thus activities lined up for the camp included a 12km hike/environmental tour, garbage game, natural disaster response/preparation, scouts go solar program and other initiatives to help our scouts on how they can be able to contribute positively to the environment in their communities. The program was made possible by the use of the, "World scout environment Programme booklet (2009)," which provides sufficient information for environmental development and education.
