Scouts; planting a seedling for the Ethiopian Great Renaissance Dam

17 scouts have participated in the seedling planting campaign which was organized by the collaboration of the Great Renaissance Dam National Community Mobilization office and the Ministry of Environment, Forest and climate change.

The program was held about 35 km far from the capital City of Ethiopia; Addis Ababa, a place called Sebeta. The aim of the program is to contribute towards the overall effort of reducing the effect of climate change on the Great Renaissance Dam particularly and the environment in general. Since scouting advocates the environmental conservation and targeted to create a better world, the scouts were there to take part as active citizens who care about themselves, the community and the country as well and promote the scouting promises and values to the various part of the society.
