ANZAC Day 2018

All sections from Hazel Glen and 1st Doreen Scout Groups were joined by members of Ava Makary Yarrambat, 1st Craigieburn and some Guides for an overnight Vigil at the Doreen War Memorial to prepare for the 2018 ANZAC Day Dawn Service.
Joey Scouts and Cubs spent 10 minutes at a time guarding the flame early in the evening, and then the Scouts, Venturers, Rovers and Leaders 20 minutes at a time from 9pm until 6am.
At the Dawn Service, our Groups helped Doreen RSL during the service with the very important jobs of raising the flags and laying wreaths at the wall.
