On Monday, April 2nd, 2018, the Association of Scouts of Ecuador signed a cooperation agreement for the development of initiatives, actions and projects that strengthen work with children, adolescents, youth and families in Ecuador. World Vision Ecuador, a humanitarian organization that works with children, their families and communities supporting the strengthening of the integral protection system, in coordination with the State. 
Roberto Freire, Scouts of Ecuador Chairperson, together with Jorge Luis Aray, Director of training, motivated this agreement to create a strategic alliance of mutual Collaboration between both organizations whose purpose is to ensure coordination and Exchange of information and methodology for working with children, adolescents and young people to build development assets, competencies and life skills of children contributing to the integral development of chilren, families and communities. Also, to promote the participation of both organizations in the process of capacity-building for young volunteers related to integrated risk management, first responder tasks and humanitarian issues.
