On hearing that the British Royal Navy’s HMS Ocean was stopping in Gibraltar to prepare for its humanitarian aid mission to the Caribbean, the 1st/4th Gibraltar Scout Group wasted no time and immediately initiated a clothes donation campaign.

Their effort did not go unnoticed. In fact, they managed to collect 32 boxes of clothes with the help of the local community, in less than a week! According to the group Scout leader, Nadiushka Saccone, the Scouts were eager to help out in any way that could relieve the pressure on the survivors in the aftermath of the hurricane.

These, together with other goods and supplies, will be delivered soon to the communities in the Caribbean that are affected by Hurricane Irma.
