The World Scout Youth Forum happens once every three years for a limited group of participants - why not help us spread the impact of the WSYF and join in the fun by organising your own Youth Forum and sharing the outcomes with us. Who knows, your inputs could even be discussed at the WSYF this summer!
Organise a Youth Forum
In an effort to widen the impact of the World Scout Youth Forum, we are encouraging as many young people from around the world as possible to run a Youth Forums. The Youth Forum can be local, regional or national, you decide. The important thing is that you take the time to plan the Youth Forum well (you find some tools to help you with that here), record the results of the discussions, and then share them on scout.org with us.
There are different ways to share the outcomes of your Youth Forum:
You can write up a report of the event and share it on scout.org (be sure to use the #YouthInvolvement and #YouthForum tags!)
You can add a comment on the poll of important topics on our home page
You can summarise your Youth Forum’s views on a particular topic (or topics) and add them into our discussions section. These are the discussions that will inform and be considered during the discussions on the floor of the World Scout Youth Forum this August in Azerbaijan.
