Rover Scouts South Australia Support Capril

Capril - Are you Cape-able?

Capril is about raising awareness of depression & other mental illness. Participants of Capril are encouraged to wear capes during everyday activities. This will raise awareness and be a catalyst for conversation. We also hope people will donate in support of beyondblue: the national depression and anxiety initiative.

The Rover Scouts of South Australia raised money and donated it to beyond blue. We wore Capes during our monthly Branch Council and are now proud to have a support email for those who need someone to talk to for support or to just chat about life. In 2016, three of our Diversity and Inclusion members also spent a week in April wearing capes everywhere in our daily lives to create discussion about Depression and Anxiety.
