On this day, after 244th Malay Ruler's Meeting, Sultan Muhammad V from Kelantan has been choosen as the new Supreme Ruler of Malaysia replacing His Highness Al Mu'tasimu Billahi Al Muhibbudin Sultan Al Haj Abdul Halim of Kedah.
