Day 3 started with the newly elected members of the World Scout Committee thanking the outgoing team for their great work over the past Triennium. This acknowledgement was followed by the presentation of another inspiring Messengers of Peace environmental project from Gerakan Pramuka Indonesia.

Excitement filled the room when it was announced that the Conference delegates had chosen Scouting Ireland as the host of the 16th World Scout Moot to take place in 2021. The environmental project Report on the 1st World Scout Education Congress was also presented, showcasing WOSM’s ability to bring together key leaders from around the globe to discuss issues related to the educational mission of Scouting.

A large part of the day was then devoted to discussion and feedback sessions in breakout groups, in particular on the Strategy for Scouting – Vision 2023, the 2014-2017 Triennial Plan and the Global Support Assessment Tool (GSAT).
Stay tuned as tomorrow morning, the name of the new Chairperson of the World Scout Committee will be announced!
