Hello again from team Polh.

Today in this blog we are going to share our thoughts on the global trend that is the most important for the youth nowadays, that is the unemployment situation in general.

The reason why we consider this as the most important issue is that it lays in the human nature to fulfill one's basic needs before we are able to commit ourselves to the bigger picture and the global community.

Since we come from different regions with different economical characteristics, it is difficult for us to reach a conclusion as different regions have their own challenges.

Based on our knowledge, we have problems like labour migration, mismatch of skills, over qualification for simple jobs and more. We have some more deep-rooted challenges like lack of universal access to education in some less developed countries due to gender inequality and financial constraints.

However, we should think from the youth's perspective, to help them explore their interests, to connect them with respective bodies and more.

As scouts, we should encourage our scouts to build up their entrepreneurship and creativity in order to increase their social mobilities. Moreover, we can make use of our resources to equip the youth members with necessary skills in different fields to face the global trends and make changes to best adapt to them.
