After each World Scout Conference, the World Scout Committee develops a Triennial Plan based on resolutions adopted at the Conference and other ongoing projects. For the 2011-2014 triennium, the four Priority Areas have been: 21st Century Leadership, Youth for Change, Global Support System and Our Strategic Path.
The Triennial Report for 2011-2014 is now available, addressing what has been achieved in the Priority Areas as well as key topics such as the relocation and reorganisation of the World Scout Bureau, World Events, Communications and External Relations and Messengers of Peace. It has been an eventful triennium, with the first ever World Scout Education Congress taking place in Hong Kong, a revision of the World Scout Youth Programme and Involvement Policies being made, the launching of a new interactive scout.org website and taking the first steps towards developing a Vision 2023 for the Movement. Not to mention a World Scout Jamboree taking place in Sweden and a World Scout Moot in Canada. These are only a few examples of what these past three years have offered.
The Triennial Report for 2011-2014 is available here: http://scout.org/node/32952 (EN) and http://scout.org/node/32954 (FR). For the Triennial Plan itself, please see: http://scout.org/node/6189 (EN) or http://scout.org/node/10487 (FR).
