200 Reading Volunteers of PRABUHI-Sukabumi Team Pulling out Nails from Trees

5th Jun 2014

Prabuhi's Sukabumi Team were commemorating World Environment Day by roaming around Sukabumi city to pull out nails from trees in the streets.
#PRABUHI4EARTH Leader Susanti Yulianti led 200 scouts from Public Junior High School No. 5 of Sukabumi to spend 3 hours pulling out nails from trees.
In Indonesia we still had this issue where people didn't aware of hurting trees through nailing posters, banners, flags and other things to tree's trunk. Some tree suffers more than 10 nails in the trunk.
As scout and volunteers, Prabuhi encourage and educate people through actions.
These action weren't their 1st, last year in the same event they did the same service.
In the school they also held drawing campaign on World Environment Day.
