scouts putting a smile on a child face (half day with children from poor regions)

During the 4th MSA MOOT for venture scouts, the youth spend half day with the youth from the deprived regions of Black River. The scouts collected foodstuffs from their different groups and they distributed them to several poor families in Black River. They also bring school materials (rulers, story books, coloured pencils etc) and offered as gifts to the children there.
The venture scouts entertained the young children through games, songs, dance, face painting and finger prints on a . The children also received an ice cream after the games. The aim of this project was to put a smile on the face of each one of those child and give them some joy and happiness. We had the presence of the General commissioner and other commissioners during this day.
