So, the big event started. It is an honour, pleasure and responsibility to represent WOSM at the World Youth Conference in Sri Lanka, which will be held until 10th of May. We will be updating all of you friends on a daily basis about the on-going developments and outcomes here. Funny pictures will follow as well 
So, today we created a traffic jam through Colombo as 1500 delegates were making their way towards the International Convention Centre, Hambanthota. Here, the delegates were met in a traditional way by representatives from the Host Committee. The Opening Ceremony started with speeches from the Youth Task Force, the President of Sri Lanka and UN Envoy on Youth. We are still in the Opening Ceremony here, Doina Postica and Jeremy Apert, and we send you all positive vibes from here.
