Scouts partner with police in serving communities

Lundi, Mai 5, 2014

Scouts teamed up with Afghan police to plant trees, visit patients, and clean up public places, as PARSA enters its second year partnership with the local police in Afghanistan.

PARSA is mobilizing Scouts to partner with over 800 police to do community service. Today, there are more than 1,400 Scouts in 11 provinces in the country.

The best reward for this success came in Parwan province where Police Commander Ziayee, a former Scout himself, placed a Scout in his chair at the end of a service event and said “This Afghan Scout is the future of Afghanistan.”
