President of Sri Lanka inducted as Chief Scout

His Excellency Maithripala Sirisena, President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, was inducted as the Chief Scout of Sri Lanka Scout Association in a special ceremony on 20 May 2015 at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo.

Chief Commissioner Prof. Nimal de Silva officiated the ceremony together with the Sri Lanka Scout Council officials and senior Scout Commissioners: Chairman Mr Ransiri Perera, Secretary Mr Sadik Ameen, Deputy Chief Commissioner Mr Shiraz Salih, National Training Commissioner Mr Sarath Godakandarachchi, National Programme Commissioner Mr Rohan Wirasekera, International Commissioner Mr Janaprith Fernando and other commissioners.
