Is there any way you can go to world jamboree as a participant if you will be 18

I would like to attend a world jamboree even know I will be 18 years old because I have never been to one before. But the problem being I will be 18 is there any way I can go to one being 18 and a participant ? And if I can not go as a participant is going as staff just as fun and exciting?

Hi Chris! Unfortunately you have to be under 18 years old in order to attend a World Scout Jamboree as a participant. If you're 18 or older at the time of the event, you should attend as IST (International Service Team). Being an IST is of course different from being a participant, but it is still a great way to experience the Jamboree. You get to meet and work with other IST from all over the world, and still experience the greatness of a World Scout Jamboree (albeit from a different perspective).
