Peace Great Achievements: National Scout Assembly 2014

For second consecutive year the workshops of the National Management Team were approved. All the schedules for the weekend were conducted correctly.
A National Assembly of Peace, with records in different aspects and full of enthusiasm with their 78 delegates from different districts and regions from the country, was developed by the Scout Association of Venezuela (SAV) from March 28 to 30 at the Hotel Cristina Suites from the city of Puerto La Cruz in Anzoategui State. There the election for the new members of the National Council and Court of Honor was deleberated and they also established the national goals for 2014.
The opening ceremony for this event was chaired by Scouter Eduardo Drachenberg on Friday 28 at 5:30pm.There, Scouter Victor Vazquez was elected as the debate director; Victor Vazquez also served as chairman of the organizing committee of the National Assembly. Both made a great job driving effectively the time of the plenary sessions and working together with a friendly service provided by all youngs and adults from Anzoategui State and Suites Hotel Cristina , whom they were rewarded with a resounding Thank You!
On Saturday the elections to the National Scout Council and the Court of Honor were performed , being selected at first : Scouter Saul Barbosa (ratified) , Bishop and Scouter. Diego Padrón and Scouter Jorge Hernandez, who were welcomed to continue working on building a better world and encouraging thousands of men and women of the SAV. That's also what was wished to Scouter Maria Granados, who was chosen to enter to the National Court of Honor, at this stage led by the Scouter José Vicente De ' Andrea.
As is well known workshops were made for each operational area of the institution on Saturday afternoon, setting a record, to be unanimously approved and also for second year they set all their goals. Loud cheers were heard throughout the room recognizing the hard work of the scout groups and their members representing the Districts and the Office of the National Management Team.
