"Christmas with Less Privileged Kids" - Colombo Rovers' Christmas Party '13

1st Jan 2014

We, the 75th Colombo District Rover Crew being the premier Rover Scout Unit in Colombo, celebrated our Christmas this year with more meaning by sharing the joy and happiness of Christmas with the less privileged children in our society.

We organized the "Christmas with Less Privileged Kids" - Colombo Rovers' Christmas Party '13 on the 27th December 2013 at the Noguchi Child Development Center, Papilyana, Sri Lanka. Noguchi Child Development Centre is a registered Child Development Centre under the Department of Probation and Child Care Services in Sri Lanka and currently extends its services to 28 male children below the age of 18 years.

All Rovers of the crew, shared their joy and happiness with the less privileged children at NCDC and presented them with Christmas gifts. The kids enjoyed the Christmas games and was happy to receive gifts from Santa. The party concluded with a small Tea Party. This was yet another Messengers of Peace - MOP project by the Colombo Rovers.
