Regional Educational Methods Seminar in Guyana– Adults in Scouting

1st Jan 2013

On last 29-30 of September and 1 October, the Scout Association of Guyana hosted the Regional Educational Methods Seminar for English speaking NSOs.

By this way, 11 adults out of different countries met, among others, to review and discuss the proposal of Core Competencies and Principles for the Regional Adults in Scouting Policy, which have been developed during the subregional meetings held this year.
The participants also worked on the definition of the mastery levels for each of the Core Competencies. Participants that attended the previous subregional meeting held in Trinidad & Tobago (June) highly valuated that they can see how things are evolving, that they are not getting back to speak over and over again about the same topics, that they can feel that there is an evolution.
