Japan Reception to Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the World Scouting

26th May 2007

On the occasion of the 2007 Scout Association of Japan's (SAJ) Annual Meeting, the Reception to Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the World Scouting took place at Imperial Hotel, Tokyo, Japan on 26 May 2007, with more than 530 leaders attending the event.

It was great honour for SAJ to celebrate the Centenary of World Scouting with His Imperial Highness the Crown Prince, H. E. Sir Graham Holbrook Fry, British Ambassador to Japan, His Excellency Mr. Stefan Noreen, Swedish Ambassador to Japan, and all of the guests that were present.
SAJ received an impressive and wonderful congratulatory address from the special guests in regards to World Scouting, after which, representatives of the Japan Contingent to the 21st World Scout Jamboree (UK) received the Contingent National Flag from His Imperial Highness the Crown Prince.
