Promotion of the SCENES network is running full speed at the Jamboree in Sweden. We are only half way through the camp and already more than a thousand scouts have stopped by and tried our different activities.

We are making a different activity every day and among those are a little memory game, environment quizzes and making bins and boxes out of newspaper. Furthermore we have arranged a couple of bikes where the participants ”bike” electricity and see the difference between an incandescent bulb and some energy saving light bulbs and we are also asking everyone who stops by to make a wish for the future environment which goes into a very long paper chain.

There has been a great interest from a lot of people to hear more about SCENES, and we have definitely spread the word to a lot of scouts and day visitors at the jamboree. From the SCENES staff here at the jamboree we would like to thank all the centres and persons who have helped making the SCENES activity possible at the World Scout Jamboree in Sweden.
