What is U-Report?
U-Report is a free interactive communication, mobilization and social messaging platform allowing anyone from any community, anywhere in the world to respond to polls, report issues that matter to you and your community. The World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) signed a global partnership agreement with the UNICEF Innovation Centre to create a Communications and Advocacy Network among Youth globally through U-Report.
How are Scouts using U-Report?
WOSM supports U-Report because it gives young people the chance to speak up, be heard and change the world. U-Report is enabling Scouts to make a difference in communities. In Uganda, Burundi and Mexico, Scouts are using U-Report to spread messages of peace. U-Report has been used to successfully fight the deadily Ebola Outbreaks in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and Uganda while in Nepal and Pakistan, U-Report has been used to mobilize affected people following the devastating earthquakes.

The U-Report App (mobile application) allows Scouts and Scout leaders to use their phones to communicate in real-time (chat with individuals & groups), capture and submit stories with pictures or video and answer weekly questions on things that matter to your community and your country.Which countries have national U-Report platforms?
U-Report national platforms exist in 20 countries in 5 out of 6 WOSM Scout Regions. These include: Burundi, Cameroon, CAR, DRC, Liberia, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Swaziland, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe (Africa Region), Indonesia, Nepal and Pakistan (Asia-Pacific Region), Ukraine (Eurasia Region), Ireland and United Kingdom (Europe Region), Brasil, Chile and Mexico (Interamerican Region).
