One Ham Radio in each Scout Group

18th Oct 2013

This project has the objective to stimulate the inflow of young people in the Amateur Radio Service, through the stimulus given by Scout Groups.

Through courses and field activities with the use of Amateur Radio equipment, we encourage our youth to participate in the largest network of global emergency that exists, which is the Amateur Radio World Network.

Even today, during times of calamities, natural disasters, floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis and other similar situations, it is not uncommon to end the electric energy and need Amateur Radio stations to emergency services.

Let's see how many scouts will become ham radio until the beginning of next JOTA? We have a year to work and we rely on your help.
