How to create online dialogue?

15. oct 2013

The new looks interesting and promising! What do you think would be needed to ensure an constantly ongoing dialogue between Scout all over the World? One easy way would be to have various platforms for different kinds of interest groups. Now there of course is the "Ask" section, but I am thinking of something like Scout Memes Worldwide or a group for Hardcore Scouts who are willing and ready to debate any given Scouting subject!

What about scout videos and photos?

A video / image board sounds like a great idea! I think Facebook really made an upgrade when they allowed answering to posts with an image.

How to post text with active links? How to make the hyperlinks to be able to click? or

Ok, here they are working but not in the main or initial post.

I think that the most important by far is to stay open to the wishes of the users - in particular to those from our scouts, the young people that this is all about. I'm old enough to be perfectly happy with a text-only forum, but I strongly suspect that many of our scouts will want to be able to communicate also with pictures, sounds, videos etc.

In the end, I think the success of this will depend on whether we manage to get our scouts to use the e-jamboree here - it is they who shall move the movement onwards.

Dear Viljami..Thank you for your kind comments on our work with the hill tribe village of Doi Chang. I liked your Blog and maybe we can work together somehow?
