Messengers of Peace Kenya

Kenya is home to the final resting place of the Founder of Scouting, Lord Baden Powell and his wife Lady Olave. With over 500, 000 Scouts, Kenya Scouts Association in partnership with various stakeholders continues to contribute towards youth development and the promotion of peace and national integration in the country.

Messengers of Peace activities are coordinated by Nelson Ochieng Opany; who was awarded the 2013 Messengers of Peace Hero Award in Saudi Arabia together with six other outstanding Scouts from across the world. He continues to inspire alot of positive action among his fellow youth in Kenya; and we are proud of him.

At Kenya Scouts Association, we remain very committed to the cause of peace in our country and beyond.
