Iam a refugee from Somalia, living in a refugee camp in Dadaab, Kenya. I started Scouting 2012 when I was 16 years old in the refugee camp and became a passionate Scout leader , giving back to my community and leading sustainable development initiatives.
iam a perfect example of how Scouting is empowering young people in vulnerable situations. As a local Scout leader, I ensures that other young refugees will keep benefiting from Scouting without the need for volunteers to travel to the refugee camp.
