SERVICE AT KAMAKHYA AMBUBACHI MELA WITH A THEME OF SWACHH BHARAT SUNDAR BHARAT (CLEAN INDIA & BEAUTIFUL INDIA)

The Ambubasi Mela is a major event in the calender and places of worship and pilgrimage in India. It is undoubtedly one of the largest congregation of people for any event or festival in north east India. Ambubasi mela (Fair) also know as Ambubasi festival, is held annually during monsoon in the Kamakhya Devi Temple at Guwahati, Assam held from 21-06-2015 to 27-06-2015.
During this festival we Member of Bharat Scouts & Guides, India's NF Railways state & Assam State rendered our services with a theme of "swachh Bharat & Sundar bharat" (CLEAN INDIA & BEAUTIFUL INDIA) and about 402 Rovers-Rangers, Scouts-Guides, Scouters - Guides were rendered voluntary services.
Also I (Ranjit KR Das, MOP Coordinator of Assam State BSG) and Mr. Ashok Mahapatra, AD of NE Region of Bharat Scouts & Guides India visited and interacted with the District administration, pilgrims, devotees, scouter & Guiders, Rovers-Rangers, Scouts -Guides, Other volunteers organizations regarding peace, Harmony, scouts movements and our globally activities as well as scout.org activities.
Finally My hearties thanks to Mr. Utpal Das, ALT (R), Mr. Siddharth Sutradhar of Assam State, Mr. K.Das, SOC (S) & Mr. Bikram Chetri , MOP coordinator of NF Railways State for their leadership works in Ambubasi Mela
Also our heartiest thanks to Mr. Ashok mahapatra, AD NER & Mr. Krishnaswamy Ramamoorthy, MOP NSO Coordinator sir for their guidance and cooperation & appreciation.
This report is uncompleted if I have not given my special thanks to Mr. Pankaj Mahanta & Mr.Heman jyoti Bora, rovers of NF Railway state Bharat Scouts & Guides who rescue a 85 yrs old women at Kamakhya temple.
