5 December, 2020 the 49th Annual (Triennial) General Meeting of the National Council of Bangladesh Scouts has been held. Md. Abul Kalam Azad was elected the President of Bangladesh Scouts, Special Envoy, United Nations Climate Vulnerable Forum, former chief Co-ordinator SDG and former chief secretary, Prime ministers office.

Professor Najma Begum was elected vice-president of Bangladesh scouts.

Dr. Md. Mozammel Haque Khan was elected Chief National Commissioner of Bangladesh scouts, Commissioner, Anti- Corruption Commission.

Dr. Md. Shah Kamal was elected treasurer of Bangladesh scouts, Former Senior Secretary, Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief.
