Afghanistan Scouts are active in World Scouting's Messengers of Peace program, and this year they organized activities in five provinces (Kabul, Nimroz, Takhar, Laghman and Sar-e-Pol) for Peace Day. Below are photos from five provinces of Afghanistan, where they engaged students and youth in activities that encouraged them to reflect on their role in a peaceful Afghanistan. They wrote their ideas about "What peace means to me" on a Peace Wall, asked participants to choose commitments that will lead to a better world, and engaged in games that focus on reaching goals and teamwork.

More than 250 Scouts and about 500 non-scouts were involved in peace activities.
