PROMOTING PEACE
BS&G UNIT K V GOLAGHAT OBSERVING PEACE MONTH
Aim :-Inculcate the value of spreading peace starting from within going through the families, friends and society.
Conduct:- We chose ten actvities to be done by all members of the unit.
Activity1 :-The Nobel Peace Laureate inspired you the most and what can you do to promote peace-This actvity aimed making them realize the ultimate honour and for being motivated to do any form of kindness and love to spread peace.
Activity 2:- PEACE STARTS WITH ME clicking selfies of any action promoting peace. It was aimed to gain experience for doing selfless service & & to become socialy responsible and the satisfaction it gives. I
Activity 3:-Speech,Story,Song or Dance on theme peace. This activity aimed at studying the nature and manifistation of peace expressing in their own way in an atmosphere of joy and pleasure.
Activity 4:- Poster making for expressing concern about earth and environment. This was aimed at increasing their responsibility as global citizen with a heart to protect Nature, natural resources and environment.
Activity 5:-Tips to control anger. Almost every individual encounters situation which make them angry. As anger destroys peace anywhere practicing this would help them shape a better personality and behaviour which ensures peace.
Activity 6:-Book sharing, conducted to realise how ones useless articles can be useful and precious for others. Some of the students donated to people and some to library.
Activity 7:-Plant a tree. Trees planted any time anywhere is an asset for the coming generation and earth. Many of them planted either trees or available plants.
Activity 8:-Pantry sharing. Many shared food. Some gave it to poor and some to neighbours.
Activity 9:-Support Lucky's efforts.Raising Funds for the treatment of the mother of a class 12 girl of our school.Students donated as well as shared fund raising link on various social media plstforms.
Activity 10:-Watching a documentary on Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyrthy(This was replacement of an Interview with a well renowned scouter, who got many awards.
