Copenhagen will be hosting the Global Goals World Cup on 14 May 2019. The Danish Scouts (KFUM-Spejderne) and their Tunisian partners Les Scouts Tunisiens will be represented. Their partnership project Future Leaders has qualified for the tournament. For the last 10 years, the project has achieved a high outreach rate to both Scouts and non-Scouts in both Tunisia and Denmark, spreading skills and knowledge about entrepreneurship and empowering youth in local communities.

In the Global Goals World Cup, the Future Leaders team will be playing soccer against 23 other teams from all over Europe – all representing amazing society development projects. The winner will be qualifying to the finals, which will be played during the UN General Assembly. Each team has chosen a Global Goal, which the team will be fighting for. Team Future Leaders are fighting for Sustainable Development Goal 17, to state that it is so important that we form partnerships to achieve sustainable development.

You can show your support by  tagging #GGWCUPCPH together with @futureleadersdktn and #Tunisia_Denmark on your favourite social media – in order to win the competition, all of the following elements combined will count: costume, team picture, team spirit, number of spectators and social media engagement.
