Himachal State Level Rovers Rangers Moot-2015
To provide the Rovers and Rangers to display their learning to each other- The Himachal Pradesh Bharat Scouts and Guides organised a 5 Day's Moot at GDC Dehri, Distt. Kangra.
During the Moot the 257 Rovers and Rangers accompanied by their RSLs and Ranger Leaders from 15 Colleges and 1 Open Group participated. Various competitions like Quiz, Debate, Painting, Folk and Cultural Competitions, Exhibition and Food Plaza were organised, in which the young people showed how good and concerned they are.
The Moot was officially inaugurated by Dr. Aseeth Mishra, Principal of GDC Dehri. State Chief Commissioner Sh. Dinkar Burathoki accompnied by Dr. JS Negi, State Commissioner (Scouts), Sh. Susheel Kumar Pundeer, DCC
All the dignitaries were welcomed by Sh. Durga Dass, STC (Scouts) and the Leader of the Moot, assisted by Sh. Vijay Mahajan, ASTC (Scouts), Smt. Santosh, STC (Guides), Smt. Bimla Verma, above all the Vatern Scouter Sh. Des Raj Ji and Others.
Activities based on 'Messengers of Peace'-Project of WOSM and 'Free Being me' of WAGGGS were also the highlight of the Moot. Sh. Pankaj Gupta, State Coordinator, oriented the participants along with Adult Leaders about 'Messengers of Peace' and Sh. Devki Nandan Ji and Miss Bala organised the 'Free Being Me' Activities to bring the youth out of Image Myth.
The Moot proved to be a completely different experience to the participants.
