The French catholic scouts' bi-annual International Service meeting took place this weekend.
The French catholic scout association "Scouts et Guides de France (SGDF)" had a meeting of its International Service this weekend in Paris.
It was a time for about 60 volunteers to come together to exchange on how to improve our trainings on international scouting activities and enhance the visibility of our actions in our NSA.
It was also a time to discuss how best to create bilateral partnerships with other scouts organisations to ensure our children and young people can organise camps abroad in the best educational and safest conditions possible.
The SGDF's International Service is composed of close to a 100 volunteers and 4 staff members. It works on external relations with WOSM, WAGGGS and international solidarity organisations such as CCFD or "France Volontaires" and also on promoting the international dimension of scouting inside our association. It's main role however is to support local groups in developing quality international camps and maintain good relationships with our scouting partners.
