CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: The 7th Asia-Pacific Regional Award for Outstanding Scouts (2018)
The Asia-Pacific Support Centre of the World Organization of the Scout Movement is pleased to announce the open call for nomination for the 7th Asia-Pacific Regional Award for Outstanding Scouts (2018).
Since its inception in 2001, the Asia-Pacific Regional Award for Outstanding Scouts has become a regular feature and is among the highlights of every Regional Scout Conference, recognising Scouts who best epitomise good moral character, demonstrated sterling qualities of leadership in the community and outstanding contribution to nation-building thru voluntary services and community-development projects.
The competition calls for the nomination and selection of outstanding Scouts in member-countries in the Asia-Pacific Region, aimed at enhancing the image and visibility of Scouting as an educational movement and to emphasise its impact and effectiveness in the holistic development of the young people.
The nomination of candidates for the 7th Asia-Pacific Regional Award for Outstanding Scouts (2018) must be made and endorsed by a duly recognised member-NSO in the Asia-Pacific Region.
The following forms must be duly filled out by the nominating NSO, must be duly endorsed by its authorised representative, viz:
1. Nomination Letter
2. Nomination Form with NSO Endorsement
2.1. Form 1. Major Accomplishments/Achievements in Scouting
2.2. Form 2. Significant Positions Held in Scouting
2.3. Form 3. Community Involvement
2.4. Form 4. Academic Performance and Achievements
2.5. Form 5. Awards Received
The above-stated requirements should be submitted to the World Scout Bureau Asia-Pacific Support Centre electronically or in hard copy at this address:

Nominations should be submitted not later than 15 JUNE 2018, Friday . Nominations submitted beyond the deadline will no longer be accepted.
