The Scout Association of Nigeria - Lagos State Scout Council Organized 2nd Eko Scout Camp & 13th Commissioners Conference
No fewer than 500 Scouts and Leaders of the Lagos State Scout Council of The Scout Association of Nigeria gathered at the Apostolic Church Headquarters Compound at Lagos (LAWNA) to celebrate 2nd All Eko Scouts Camp and the 13th Commissioners Scout Camp. The programs that started on Wednesday 25th of October 2017 witnessed various Scouting Activities like: Hiking, Cycling, Messengers of Peace Activities Citizenship and Leadership Education. The Former Chief Commissioner Scout of Nigeria, Olori Omo-Oba Olusoga Sofolahan-Atibioke LT, FSM, FCE, DCC who doubles as the Vice Chairperson of the Africa Scout Foundation was at the dual ceremonies to declare open the functions and to educate on: "Re-orientation of Scouting at the Base". The theme focused on building fresh Base of Younger Scouts for Nigeria National Scout Organization and a way of increasing our numbers in Nigeria towards the attainment of World Organization of Scout Movement (WOSM) Vision 2023 of building 100 Million young Scouts as Agents of Positive Changes within their immediate and external Communities. This position was corroborated by the Assistant Chief Commissioner Diversity Inclusion & Social Impact, Apostle Adetola Adenekan - LT, JP ADCC, who took the Scouts and their Leaders through the Seventeen Sustainable Development Goal and how Scouts can key into making these Goals work in our Environment. The National Headquarters Commissioner in Charge of Sea Scouting a Pathologist Dr. Raji Bomodeoku was able to take the Scouts and their Leaders through the Basic Rules of Health, with some Medical Nomenclatures that were funny to the Scouts but actually drove home the points. Also in attendance from the National Scout Committee is the current National Education Commissioner for the Scout Association of Nigeria, Alhaji Fatai Ogunlana LT, The National Headquarters Commissioner in charge of Scouts Prince Oladokun Betiku Aroloye and the host of other Veteran Scout Leaders like Pa Seni Oduyoye. We would like to congratulate Lagos State Scout Council under the Leadership of Her Lordship, Hon Justice Olufunmilayo Atilade - OFR, The President of Lagos State Scout Council and the Incumbent State Scout Commissioner, Chief Jonathan Oladapo Tawose -ALT for putting together yet another wonderful ceremonies. ITESIWAJU EKO LO JE WA LOGUN.

1. Values & Ethics of Scouting - Nigeria Socio-Cultural Environment as a Case Study.
2. Citizenship & Patriotism - Our Roles as Scouts and Scout Leader. Qualities & Characteristics of Good Citizens
3. Scouting Governance Processes and NOT Scouting Governance "Politics" - The Actual Roles of Adults in Scouting
4. Aligning with the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals - Our Roles as Scouts towards the achievement of these Goals.
5. The General Rules of Health and Diseases Prevention in our Societies.
