I am very happy to inform you that the Rovers of 2nd East Calcutta Debiprasad Rover Crew, Adult Leaders of our District (East Calcutta BS&G Dist. Assn.) and 3rd East Calcutta Scout Group observed the International Peace Day 2017 on Thursday the 21st September 2017 in two phase.


Our peace action was to distribute School Bags, books, cloths to the children those who are below poverty level and residing in nearby slum areas in our locality.
We felt that they are very much needy but has a strong desire of education. So we to motivate them we distributed education related materials that they could use for a better tomorrow.
We already selected the Pre-primary (Angwan bari) schools in our areas where we distributed all the stuffs and also we selected the needy students to whom we distributed the books.
We started the action at 10:00am and continued till 5:00 pm.


In second phase our self-made MOP Ribbons and Peace Greetings Card distributed among the local people to mark this auspicious day and to promote the noble value of it.
We offered the Mop Ribbons and told the adult to spare their children to join in the Scouting Global Family to make their future valuable for the community.
The Kolkata Municipal Councillor of ward no 12 and social workers also greeted us for this glorious actions.
The objectives of this project was to create a peaceful community around us and to reach to the common people with our movements spirit and joys

2) Total service our : 140 hours (7 hours * 20)
