Three Patrols woke up the scout's base in the morning of Thursday January the 19th 2017. The bear wolf and butterfly patrols set guidelines for the upcoming year with great enthusiasm. Roles were set, and so were primary plans for events and activities for the year 2017! As always after planning was done the fun part stared. The patrols had a few competitive activities within the courts of Freres school Bethlehem; like a football match, and a basketball game. They decided to take the competition 1 step further and have a bit more fun, so they went to a nearby monastery where they set up treasure hunts for each other, of course to develop their sense of adventure, curiosity and teamwork. The treasures they found were beyond the symbolic findings of the treasure hunt, they exceeded to strengthening friendships, developing skills and most importantly having fun. With the energy left, and the recent strategic replacement of the ministry of tourism next to the Freres school, the patrols decided to pay them a visit after school, where they welcomed them in the neighborhood by observing how a few tasks are done, doing a few simple tasks around and last but not least planting joy into the hearts of the workers there. After and eventful fun day, the three patrols said "goodnight" to the scout's den, awaiting and equally eventful yea ahead!
