MoP initiatives at 1st Regional ICT Camp of Rover Region in Bangladesh

Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh; 26 May 2016: A Three days Rover Regional 1st ICT Camp has successfully been take place at Rover Scout Training Centre (RSTC), Bahadurpur, Gazipur from 24 to 26 May, 2016. About 160 Rover Scouts from different district got an opportunity to take part in this camp. And 30 Camp Staff operated its program successfully. Rover Scout Md. Abu Shahed, a participant from Bangladesh Agricultural University, says that the participants came to know about the basic knowledge on Rover Scout program and activities, networking, digital hiking and awareness campaign, programming, digital Kims game, hardware trouble shooting, photography, cinematography, audio/ video and photo editing tools, outsourcing by attending this camp.

During the camp Messengers of Peace (MoP) Team Bangladesh had taken an active initiative to introduce its activities. MoP Coordinator- Scouter Forhad Hossain (#26317), Scouter Abdullah Al Fahad (#58439) and Rover Scout Junayet Alam Hridoy (#114206) coordinated different segment like- Introduction of MoP, Background of MoP, MoP platform on scout.org, Storytelling, Art and comments writing on Peace, Networking Games, MoP Sign, MoP Dance, showing inspirational video etc. The entire participants get an immense pleasure by viewing and knowing about MoP activities. And all they become MoP member.
