BHARAT SCOUTS AND GUIDES, NORTH EAST REGION REGIONAL LEVEL TREKKING CUM NATURE STUDY PROGRAMME FOR SR, SCOUTS, GUIDES, ROVERS RANGERS AT SHQ, KOHIMA, NAGALAND STATE.FROM 15TH FEBRUARY TO 19TH FEBRUARY, 2016.

The Regional Level Trekking cum Nature Study Programme for Sr, Scouts, Guides, Rovers, Rangers was organized by the Regional Headquarter, N.E. Region at SHQ,Kohiama, Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides from 15th February to 19th February, 2016in which 110 Participants & Staff participated from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Maizoram, N.F.Railway, Nagaland & Tripura State.

On the 15th february, 2016, The Camp was started with the Registration and Settle down, at 10.00 am Flag, Integration Session, and Objectives of the Event, at 3.00pm all the participants and with help of local administration near about 200 School/College students went for peace march (Swachhata Yovao ki Pehechan) and inaugurate By Sh. Khymp Lotha, State Chief Commissioner, Nagaland State, Bharat Scouts & Guides, and EX MP Nagaland.
On 16th February 2016, at 11.00 am we started opening ceremony, Sri P.B.Acharya, His Excellency the Governor of Nagaland & Assam was the Chief Guest and Sri Khymo Lotha, State Chief Commissioner, Nagaland State, Bharat Scouts & Guides, and EX MP Nagaland. was the Guest of Honour, Sri Khymo Lotha, State Chief Commissioner, Nagaland State, Bharat Scouts & Guides, and EX MP Nagaland State welcome to His excellency and all the member were present the opening ceremony. Sri John, State Secretary BS&G, Nagaland and State officials were present the occocaision. Sri Ashok Kumar Mohapatra, Assist Director, NER made the introductory speech and explaining the importance of the Programme.
Sri P.B.Acharya, His Excellency the Governor of Nagaland & Assam and Patron of the Bharat Scouts & Guides, Nagaland State Presented the Mementoes to all the dignitaries. The inaugural ceremony was a colorful opening of the Programme with high standard. Cultural programme were presented by the participants contingents and Scouts & Guides of Local Schools/Collages, and lastly in his Speech he was appreciate to The Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Headquarters to provide them such type of programme.

During the Programme, all the Trekkers cover maximum point nearby Kohima i.e, botanical garden, juku hill, During the programme we are doing activity M.O.P and 20 no of new member was enrolled our www.scout.org , stop violence and also surf smart with PowerPoint presentation we explain the newly introduced our Bharat Scouts & Guides also we had conducted during the programme Youth Forum and Group Discussion etc.the MOP Games also enjoyed by all participants.

The Valedictory Function was organized in the afternoon at State Training Centre, Neherma on 18th February, 2016 at 05.00 P.m. where Sri Khymo Lotha, State Chief Commissioner, Nagaland State, Bharat Scouts & Guides, and EX MP Nagaland State was the Chief Guest, and State Officials of Assam, Tripura and Nagaland ,The Bharat Scouts and Guides were invited and graced the valedictory function During the Valedictory function, distribution of Certificates were presented to the participants and Staff Members appreciation letter.

The Camp to an end on 19th February, 2016 with All Faith Prayer Meeting, Local Saff (Cleaning of Camp area), Group Discussion on Scouting and Guiding in North East, Open Session, Evaluation, Final Talk & Lowering of the BSG Flag and Singing the National Anthem. All the participants were very much happy and enjoyed with the entire programmed and activities and the behaviors of the Staff members.

The Meet was conducted under the leadership of Sri Ashok Kumar Mohapatra, Assistant Director, of North East Region, Guwahati, BS&G India and able assisted by Staff Member of N.E.Regional State i.e Assam, Tripura and Nagaland State.
