INTERNATIONAL MESSENGER OF PEACE- PLANT A SAPLING

Today Bharat Scouts and Guides, Udhampur continued their plantation drive under the "Green India" initiative of Govt of India.
Today Scouts Master Rakesh Singh; Vivek Gupta; Rakesh Sharma; Amar Dev Singh; Ved Dubey; Ajay Mathur Planted trees of medicinal plants and fruit trees like Neem tree,Giloy,Jamun trees in Government Middle School,Barrian of Zone jib.
While speaking on the occasion,Scout Master Rakesh Singh and Vivek Gupta said that Government schools are more focused for plantation drive by Bharat Scouts and Guides, Udhampur because in schools, students develop love for plants and ultimately for environment as they constantly give care to plants and observe their growth closely by their own eyes in the schools.
Plants are Voluntary adopted by the local students in the school who pledged to take care of plants. Scouts Master Rakesh Sharma and Amar Dev Singh awared the public of locality about various initiatives of environmental protection by Govt of India and District Administration,Udhampur. They told that the importance of tree plantation is so obvious even then there are only a handful of people who take the pledge to actually participate in this activity. The rest have become so engrossed in their lives that they do not understand that without enough trees we will not be able to survive for long. This is the right time when we should recognized the importance of plantation and contribute towards it.Scout Master Ved Kumar and Ajay Mathur extend warm thanks to Scout officials of Udhampur and District Administration for involving Scouts and Guides in implementation of various initiatives of Government of India like Swach Bharat Abhiyaan,Jeevika Project etc and hope that Administration in future also give them opportunity of service for society .
