2019 Ram Leela Program

The 2019 Ram Leela program was held from the 15th of October 2019 to the 20th of October 2019. It was held at Hindu Mahasabha School premises. The program began at 7pm and ended at 11pm over a 6 day period.

There were a total of 10 teachers, 300 students, 50 guest members, 40 helpers, 50 dramatists performing the religious act. And a recorded number of 950 participants who came over to watch the act.

The program engaged the youths of the community as well and it was a very good engagement of people of all ages in this program

The opening day started off with alot of rain, it didn't stop the act! It started off with the opening and introduction of characters. Food stalls were also there for the participants. The entry was free for all and people of Tunalia, Nadi in Fiji took full advantage of the religious act of peace.

The second day saw the storyline progress. The rain had stopped which helped the cause of peace. The school and organizers provided food for the characters throughout the 6 days

It was continued throughout the days and more and more participants came to watch the play. The money raised from this gathering was used towards the school that hosted the program. The school used the fundraising to build a new washroom for the students.

It was an interesting and different way of promoting peace through acts of kindness and with a touch of religion acts.
